Here at DK's Sassy River Shelties we strive to produce a bloodline full of athletic, smart, willing, and healthy dogs. Every breeding pair we do comes from long debates which include evaluating their temperaments, health, genetics, and willingness to learn. We are striving to create amazing bloodlines with different purposes. Lines with sporting, pet, service quality dogs, and showing potential. It is our obligation to the breed to produce the most pristine lines, and we dedicate all of our time and love into our goals as reputable breeders.
My males and females are fed Instinct Raw kibble with freeze dried pieces, and salmon oil daily. The females receive prenatal and postnatal vitamins. We do our best to make sure they are eating properly to have the best puppies they can have. We love the parents just as much as the cute puppies, and we give them the best possible life we can. This starts with long days of activity including, fetch, swimming, running, and laying in the house. Happy, healthy puppies start with happy, healthy parents!
All of my puppies grow up to be devoted to their owners. Major snuggles, lots of kisses, water dogs, couch potatos, and your best friend. These puppies go onto be amazing adults that are very easy to train! You'll find a lot of willingness in your new partner! Whatever you want from your puppies, we are confident to say you will get it, and most likely more. As our babies strive to do above and beyond.

YES! I take the puppies to the vet at 6 and 8 weeks old. If you participate in our Puppy Kindergarten, and your puppy stays for two weeks after it's going home date, the puppy will receive a third puppy shot from the vet!
Yes we do! I have a typed up contract I will email to you after you submit your puppy application!
The puppies will typically go home at 8 weeks old. If you participate in our puppy kindergarten then you have the option to leave your puppy with us for up to 12 weeks old!
You can submit an email or text to schedule a meet and greet to see potential parents, puppies, etc!
